'Teacher X'

Hey..

So reading through my blog I realised the only time I ever mentioned school was when I said I wouldn't post for a while due to exams.. which went really badly just by the way.. so I figured I'd post something about a teacher at my school.

This teacher, as you might have figured out from this post title, is 'Teacher X'. Is this his real name you ask? No, no its not. I decided to call him that so as not to use his real name (lawsuit issues again). Now as intimidating as he might sound.. the name I've given him is very misleading..

He's a teacher at my school (this much should be obvious by now) and he teaches me a subject. This all sounds pretty normal so far. You're now probably asking why I decided to do a post on said 'Teacher X'?? Well be patient all will reveal its self in true time.

So the thing about 'Teacher X' is he gets very sidetracked, very quickly. This is seen as an invitation to the 'less disciplined students' to cause some mischief (yes I did just use that word). Now, although this does curb learning slightly it can be very entertaining.

So the one lesson we're going over aerodynamics and how air moving over a planes wing causes lift and what not and one guy asks 'Teacher X' if hes ever been on a plane.. Mistake on that guys part. 'Teacher X' went on to describe, in lengthy detail I might add, how he flew to Australia (he talks about Australia and New Zealand a lot, makes one wonder) before the 9/11 incident in America and how he knew one of the pilots (he then went on to tell us how he and the pilot had met years ago while they were studying) so he got to take a tour of the cockpit and the front region of the plane. He then told us how he was looking out the bottom of the plane and he could see fields that were burning and how very fascinating this was. After this story he told us he flew the same airline with the same pilot to the same place but because 9/11 had occurred airplane security had heightened and were afraid he might have been a terrorist (if you had met 'Teacher X' and knew what he looked like that would be a lot funnier than what it actually is) so he had to sit in chair for the rest of the flight like a normal passenger. By the time he had finished his story two periods had disappeared along with our lesson.

Anyway, that video I mentioned in my last post is being re-edited by Dylan Kuhlenthal and will soon be ready to upload.

A Punch in the Face

Hey..

So today while chilling in class (well technically in the workshop) I heard some one utter the phrase "I'm going to punch you in the face!" And this got me thinking again, what if every threat spoken was carried out?

Like how many times has someone said to you "I'm gonna kill that guy" or "I'm gonna smack you so hard your teeth fall out!" See people say all these things (some with the intention of actually completing the task) out of anger and emotion and stuff and after they've calmed down a bit think about what they've said and realise that they were being really stupid. Some people on the other never actually calm down.. which is where your psychopathic murders come from.

I guess that's all I gotta say for this one. So I'll just post a picture of a guy getting punched in the face..
See, now imagine this happening every time a threat was declared.. We'd have a lot of deformed people..

Sorry if this post isn't as entertaining as the last one.. I've got a video which I'll try upload soon.
Cheers

...

Hey..

So the keener eyed blog reading people may be wondering why the title of this post isn't very  informative.. Well that's because it's a secret.

Okay so I'm gonna start off by saying sorry for not posting anything in like the past 'insert grossly exaggerated time-span here' and there really is no reason for that.

Now onto my topic.

SKILLET!!
For those of you who don't know Skillet is a Christian rock band.. and also a frying pan.. but in this instance I'm referring to the band.

So the band in question is made up of 5 people.
Lead singer and bass guitarist, John Cooper
Rhythm guitarist, Korey Cooper
Drummer and back up vocalist Jen Ledger
And to be completely honest I don't know tho the rest are at the moment due to people leaving and stuff.. I know there's a lead guitarist, a violin playing guy and a dude that plays the cello.

Now that you have a rough outline of what Skillet is I'm gonna attempt to put their awesomeness into words.
...Hmmm...  it seems I cant do that.. I see problems arising..

Okay so lets pretend that they weren't as amazing as they are.. that'll make this a lot easier.. So here goes my attempt at describing Skillets amazing-ness..

You know you get those songs that just make you like jump around or dance and forget about everything else?? Skillets got albums filled with those types of songs, songs that you just end up replaying through out the day and then dreaming about it at night (if you get sleep at night.. lucky people that can sleep)

Like you listen to their music and it makes you feel invincible, like you can never die! You can be amazingly close to death and then suddenly get up and start punching stuff in the face!! This is a feeling which I enjoy..
You could picture their song 'Awake and Alive' as the theme song for the up and coming zombie apocalypse.
Their music brings people back from the dead!! ..Okay so maybe it doesn't.. but when you listen to it that's what you're thinking.

See they're amazing coz they defy like every scientific law and make you feel like you can do the same (I wouldn't recommend trying to break scientific laws.. I can tell you from experience they're set pretty solidly. The old dudes who came up with them knew what they were doing)

So there's my first review of a band Danica Krenski. Hope it lives up to expectations!

Cheers Internet!
