Hey..
So my last post was entitled 400!! Which was, you know, appropriate because at the time i had 400 page views, and then I go check on it like half an hour later and there's 487! I thought about doing a post called 487 but decided not to.
Anyway, quite a lot of people have spoken to me about this blog and they keep asking me to do a post about them, but I'm not going to do that because if I did it'd be like letting them win.. and that's just not cool. So to keep all those people happy.. Emma Sandison, Georgia Webber, Qhayiya Mashalogu (pretty sure that's spelt wrong so I'm sorry Que) and if any one else asked and i forget then I'm sorry.
Okay so you guys remember Brandon Townsend?? (Yeah he's the weird guy pictured right.. sorry bru was the only photo i could find..) Yeah he said my blog was getting boring.. (which i guess makes sense actually on account of the fact that i write about absolutely nothing..) and he told me to make them more exciting but i actually have no idea how.. so I'm just gonna carry on doing what I always do.
Oh ya. Touch Rugby Tournament in two weekends time (so not this Friday but the next one) at the Selborne Rugby fields hosted by SBClive! It's gonna be a really cool inter-youth thing so get a team together from your youth and be there!! Theres also gonna be like side games organised by Denver Ballentyne. (probably spelt that wrong too) and he's normally pretty good at games and stuff.
Last thing. If you come to SBClive on a Friday night, please comment on this blog )or post on my facebook wall if Blogger gets discriminative and doesn't let you comment stuff) and let me know what kind of music you'd like to hear at youth during the night. We're gonna try out a DJ booth thing so we need music. If you don't come to SBClive.. well then you should come past on Friday nights from 7:30 to like 10:00. Its really cool.
Anyway
That's all from me for now.
Cheers

400!!
Hey..
So i reached 400 page views, which is pretty cool considering the stuff I post is completely irrelevant, but hey I'm not complaining.
On Tuesday my mom decided i needed to go to a career counselor as I didn't know what i wanted to do with my life. So i went for it and discovered that i should be a journalist.. I wonder if journalists can write about completely irrelevant stuff, if they can I've definitely got that job owned!
Anyway, the other day I was asked to be an ambassador for a magazine that's coming out soon. Its called Students Rule Mag, and it seems pretty cool so if i ever ask you to buy a subscription from me, do it! Coz i get like 20% of the money you're paying. Which, for me anyway, is pretty cool.
Other news in my life, I was recently disappointed when a concert in Joburg (Switchfoot, shown right, check them out) which i was planning on going to and being all awesome, got booked on a Wednesday.. during school.. So there's that opportunity gone. Which is pretty depressing, but hey. I'll keep nagging the rents and hopefully they'll eventually give up, pay for the ticket and put me on a bus to Joburg \o/ (that's a celebration face, in case you didn't attend summer camp 2011)
So that's my life since my last post. Also studying is going well and hopefully after exams and holidays and stuff I'll have uploaded my first video! Get keen, it's going to be amazing!

HEY..
Hey..
So as you can see from the title of this post I'm not feeling very creative today, so if this post doesn't live to expectations I'm sorry.
So a week till exams and stuff and strangely I'm not feeling the pressure.. but this probably has a lot to do with me being slightly schizophrenic/bipolar/suicidal (if you don't get that then scroll down to the post "No, I'm not schizophrenic) but hey we'll wait and see what happens.
So anyway I had to wake up at 6:30 this morning to be at church to play bass for some little kids (all of this was Brandon Townsend's idea who, coincidentally, was half an hour late) so I was pretty bleak about that.. but hey it was actually a lot of fun. Filling out forms for a holiday club and making up fake children and all their allergies with Maxine Smith (which actually really funny when you got two witty people.. turns out Robert Karlyle is allergic to eucalyptus.. and your face)
Anyway, brunch has just been made and (for the first time in quite a while) I'm really hungry!! (Adam Ball will know how that is actually pronounced)
Cheers

Georgia Webber
Hey..
Upon reading the title of this post you're more than likely thinking "Okay why?" Well she asked me to put her name in a post and i couldn't think of anywhere to put it, except of course the title. Which is exactly what I did.
So now the subject of this post, which has absolutely nothing to do with the title. I went job hunting today.. I'm still jobless.. which is bad because I really need money (don't you just love these brackets?) (If anyone reading this knows where i can get a decent job please let me know?) coz like guitars and stuff aren't cheap. Probably not the best time to go job hunting.. what with exams happening soon.. damn.. exams..
So while we're on the subject of exams, I'm probably not gonna post anything new until they're over coz apparently I have to learn..
Anyway that's all for now.
Cheers

Against the Grain
HEY..
So today i spent some time with with Dylan Kuhlenthal, or Dyl K... whichever is easier to spell. (Most people opt for the second one) and we were watching some videos that he took with his iPhone 4S (I really want one) and he played them backwards and it was really funny and stuff! Like imagine a mentos and coke reaction happening backwards where the mentos fly out of the bottle and into your hand... yeah thats what happened.
Anyway we got onto the subject of our band, Against the Grain. You may have heard of us.. apparently there's some country band with the same name so if you look up against the grain and find like a piece of corn... that's not us. We've played one gig, Extravaganza at Hudson Park High School (if i can get all the companies and corporate things i name in these blogs to pay me I'll have an iPhone in no time) and that went pretty well (well as far as first gigs go anyway) and now we're kinda just not happening anymore.. So if you have an uncle who just happens to own a record company let me know!!
Also tell people you know to check out this blog. Hopefully in the near future you'll see some pretty hilarious videos staring Brandon Townsend, Adam Ball and Jason Geach. Maybe me and Dyl K as well.
Cheers for now!

Coffee Shop
Hey Blog reading peoples!!
So today I was with this dude named Daniel duPlesis (if I spelled that wrong I'm very sorry Dan) and we went down to the Beachbreak Cafe at Nahoon beach (wonder if i could make them pay me for advertising) for breakfast/lunch, more commonly known as a brunch, and it was really good! Not the point though.
Okay so Beachbreak advertise themselves as a coffee shop/cafe on their menu (I tried to get a picture to prove my point but Google was like no... so i got the picture of the tables instead) which i found really weird, because nowhere in the menu does it actually say the word coffee (okay so it says decaf coffee... but that's decaf so it really doesn't count). I thought about this for a while and then realised that they probably don't put it in their menu because it's on the front of it...
Anyway, enjoy your week peoples!!!

No! I am not schizophrenic!!
Good Evening blog readers.
So firstly I'ma apoalgise for not posting any thing in like 5 months... I have no excuse for this except that the 'P' on my keyboard had broken and i was getting annoyed.
So upon reading the title of this blog you're probably like "yeah, otherwise you'd be in a mental institution"... my mother seems to think differently. On occasion I zone out... we all do it yes? Yeah well my mom caught me zoning once and decided that i needed to see a councilor..
Luckily i persuaded her that Zoning out was a normal thing for teenagers these days. Also, I've been having sleeping problems lately. Nothing major right?? Not if my mother has anything to do about it. She goes on and on about how I'm sounding depressed and suicidal when I complain about lack of sleep.
And no don't worry my family is not dysfunctional. We're actually quite normal. Well apart from my brother... for whom a trip to the psychiatrist probably wouldn't be such a bad thing.. true story.
